What have I learnt that could help you? Buying air conditioning, a high dollar value specialty product, is for most people an infrequent task. Therefore, choosing air conditioning involves a lot of research and problem solving skills and often many compromises.
Consumers who are buying air conditioning for the first time often get confused. They confuse a cheap price as better value, when all it may be is a cheap job. What people should be looking for is a quantifiable measure of what cooling am I getting for my dollar.

My recommendation is to never compromise on quality or performance to save a few dollars. Spending a little more than initially budgeted or delaying the purchase is far better than wasting money on a system that doesn’t perform.
